Introduction to State Bank PO Exam

State Bank of India Probationary officers Exam is an examination that is held every year by the Central Recruitment Board, State Bank Group, generally in the month of February.
State Bank & Nationalized Banks Probationary Officers' Examination is held by Central Recruitment Board (State Bank Group). This examination body is based at the following address:
Madhuli, 2nd Floor, H/2 Shiv Nagar Estate, Dr. Annie Besant Road, Worli, Mumbai-400018.

This examination is to be conducted for recruitment of Probationary Officers in State Bank of India and its associates banks namely,
  • State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur
  • State Bank of Hyderabad
  • State Bank of Indore
  • State Bank of Mysore
  • State Bank of Patiala
  • State Bank of Suarashtra
  • State Bank of Travancore
Candidates are permitted only three attempts to write the Examination. However, this restriction does not apply in the case of candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC communities. This flexibility for the reserved quotas is available only after sufficient documents and proof is given. Application forms and other particular documents are published in the Employment News in the month of September of the previous year. The last date for submission of applications is generally second week of April.
