Ending
all speculation amongst the engineering aspirants for IIT Jee 2013, the Joint
Admission Board (JAB) of IITs, has put forth some of the guidelines for the
exam to be held in 2013. The board has acknowledged that any change in the
paper patterns would lead to more stress and needless upheaval. With the
announcement that the Advanced Test will have the same pattern as that in the
last few years, the board has ensured that the students who have already
started preparing will not be affected. It has also categorically stated that
there will be no subjective portion for the exams to be held in 2013. However
the JAB has also made it clear that this would be applicable only for the IITJee exam 2013.

JEE (Main) 2013 were conducted by CBSE and the scores will determine admission to the National Institutes of Technology (NIT) and the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT) and some deemed universities.
