JEE Main Results 2013 Announced Today, May 7

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2013 results are expected to be declared today at 4 pm. JEE (Main) 2013 were conducted by CBSE and the scores will determine admission to the National Institutes of Technology (NIT) and the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT) and some deemed universities.

The students who will qualify the JEE Mains (top 1.5 lakh students in all categories across the country) will get an opportunity to appear in the JEE Advanced, slated to take place on June 2.
The 15 IITs which will provide admissions to fresh candidates are: IIT-Bhubaneshwar, IIT-Bombay, IIT-Delhi, IIT-Gandhinagar, IIT-Guwahati, IIT-Hyderabad, IIT-Indore, IIT-Kanpur, IIT-Kharagpur, IIT-Madras, IIT-Mandi, IIT-Patna, IIT-Rajasthan, IIT-Roorkee and IIT-Ropar.
Two separate merit lists will be made for BE / B. Tech and B. Arch / B. Planning on the basis of marks obtained in JEE Main 2013 and class 12th or equivalent. 60% weight age would be given to JEE Main score while Class 12th marks will be given 40% weight age.
About 10.5 lakh students sat for JEE (Main) – 9 lakh students opted for the pen-and-paper test while 1.5 lakh students took the online test.
