Life Of PI Won Four Oscar Award !!!


‘Life of PI’ won four Oscar award for Best Direction, Best Original Score, Best Cinematography and Best Visual Effects.


  Argo' and 'Les Miserables' received three awards. On the other hand, 'Lincoln' movie won only two awards. This movie had received the most number of nominations at 12.
Argo, Ben Affleck's Iran hostage drama won the Oscar for best picture. This movie was nominated for the unique presentation done by Jack Nicholson in Hollywood and First Lady Michelle Obama by video link. This movie  by putting all speculations to rest "Amour," "Beasts of the Southern Wild," "Django Unchained," "Les Miserables," "Life of Pi," "Lincoln," "Silver Linings Playbook," and "Zero Dark Thirty.



Affleck, a co-producer of the film said that I want to thank Canada. I want to thank our friends in Iran, who live under terrible circumstances.

The story of "Argo" is that in this movie a group of US diplomats who took refuge in the Canadian embassy in Tehran during the Iran hostage crisis were spirited out of the Islamic republic as members of a bogus movie crew.

Ang Lee, Director of 'Life of Pi’ has won the best director award second time at the 85th Academy Awards. His 'Life of Pi' won four Oscars, including best cinematography, best visual effects and best original score.
